Fundada no dia 14 de julho de 1945, por Heitor Villa-Lobos, nos moldes da Academia Francesa, a Academia Brasileira de Música é instituição cultural sem fins lucrativos composta de quarenta Acadêmicos, personalidades de destaque no meio musical brasileiro nas áreas da composição musical, da interpretação e da musicologia. Foi reconhecida de Utilidade Pública por Decreto Federal de 7 de novembro de 1946 e instituída como Órgão Técnico Consultivo do Governo Federal por Decreto de 6 de junho de 1947.

Nel 1973 nasce l'Istituto Musicale "Lorenzo Perosi" di Biella, la sua sede è, a quel tempo, nel Chiostro di San Sebastiano. In questi anni ha visto una presenza di più di 3000 studenti, ne ha diplomati oltre 70, gli esami intermedi (Storia della Musica, Solfeggio ecc...) preparati dagli studenti dell'Istituto e svolti nei Conservatori italiani sono stati più di 800. I Programmi adottati sono gli stessi dei Conservatori inoltre vengono organizzati corsi di propedeutica e di musica moderna. A partire dal 1976 inizia ufficialmente l'attività concertistica del "Perosi", nasce l'Associazione Musicale e la prima Stagione Concertistica. In precedenza i concerti erano stati organizzati attraverso altre associazioni quali il Circolo Cameristico Piemontese di cui Giacomelli è stato socio fondatore. Fra i molti artisti che hanno dato lustro all'attività concertistica ricordiamo Katia Ricciarelli, Aldo Ciccolini, Paul Badura-Skoda, Franco Gulli, Pina Carmirelli, Bruno Canino, Augustin Dumay, Michel Dalberto, il Trio di Tokyo, il Johann Strauss Ensemble di Vienna, l'Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino, l'Orchestra di Arad e il coro di Timisoara, l'Ensemble Instrumental di Grenoble...

Académie Européenne de Musique.
Crée en 2003, l'Académie Européenne de Musique (A.E.M.), association, loi 1901, a pour but de développer la connaissance et la pratique de la musique chez les jeunes musiciens européens, par l'organisation de Stages de formation pré professionnelle et d'Académie de musique, proposés pendant les vacances d'été.
Depuis sa création, l'Académie Européenne de Musique, met en place en juillet de chaque année, des « Master classes », des auditions publiques de stagiaires, des concerts donnés par des solistes et professeurs de haut niveau.
Dans un espace propre à la rencontre et à l'échange, 110 jeunes musiciens venant de Belgique, de France, d'Irlande, d'Allemagne, d'Espagne ont été retenus et déjà ont bénéficié de cette formation. (...)

The Academy of Music in Gdansk is over half a century old. In northern Poland it was the only Musical Academy for a long time, covering an area of 1/4th of the country. Today it’s backstage is an area covering 1/5th of the country with 5 million citizens.
The Academy raised 3023 graduates so far (May 2006). Amongst them, there are winners of prestigious competitions and prominent artists. Amongst others: vocalist Zofia Janukowicz – winner of the International Music Competition in s’Hertogenbosch, pianist Jerzy Sulikowski - winner of the International Music Competition in Geneva, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron – pianist an the outstanding teacher, violinist Konstanty A. Kulka - winner of the International Music Competition in Munich, pianist Ewa Pobłocka – laureate of the International Chopin competition in Warsaw; vocalist Stefania Toczyska - soloist of the Vienna Opera, vocalists – participants of numerous prominent music events, Piotr Kusiewicz, Bo?ena Harasimowicz-Haas, Ryszard Minkiewicz or Tomasz Krzysica, winner of the vocal competition in Milan, strongly connected with the La Scala opera in 2001. Amongst the Academy graduates a strong position in jazz was obtained by Włodzimierz Nahorny and Leszek Mo?d?er.
The graduates of the Academy are highly valued in symphonic orchestras in Poland and abroad. (...)

The International Ensemble Modern Academy (IEMA) was founded in Frankfurt am Main in summer 2003. It represents the continuation of that which the Ensemble Modern has worked to achieve for over 25 years - the highest quality, the joy of performing, interdisciplinary art projects and internationality. Since its founding 25 years ago, the EM has been committed to working closely with artists and their works. By gaining extensive and highly diverse knowledge of 20th century music, the EM has become the "memory of modern music". The IEMA is committed to the same spirit. It is a dynamic place where young artists have the opportunity to learn, communicate, discuss, experiment, and share in this memory in a variety of ways. International Chamber Music Academy Chamber music is one of the most beautiful and important forms of musical communication. The International Chamber Music Academy has, therefore, made its goal the education of young musicians in the art of chamber playing. In an intensive eight day session, duos and trios of highly talented pianists, violinists and cellists, will be coached by the three guest professors. Lessons focus on challenges specific to each instrument, as well as questions concerning communication within the chamber setting. The master classes are intended as a preparation for concerts and competitions. During the Chamber Music Academy four concerts will take place: The opening concert by the teaching staff and then participant concerts in the Gengenbach region, in France and the final Gala Concert in Gengenbach itself.
