Allegro Vivo, Lower Austria's most traditional music festival, opens its doors every summer to thousands of music lovers, concert goers and hundreds of students from all over the world. From mid-August to mid-September, Allegro Vivo transforms the mystical region of Waldviertel, the "forest quarter" some 100km north-west of Vienna known for its charming landscape, which reaches as far as the Czech border. Beautiful castles from the Middle Ages, magnificent baroque abbeys and lovely historic towns resound with music and make an enhancing setting for around 50 events.

Francesc Viñas va cantar en els principals teatres d'Europa i Amèrica, i va ésser considerat com el millor intèrpret espanyol de les òperes de Wagner. L'any 1913, estrenà Parsifal a Espanya. L'any 1932 va publicar un llibre d'alt valor didàctic, "El arte del canto", sòlidament basat en les seves experiències com a cantant. (...)

The both past and present secret capital city of Poland is one of Europe's last undiscovered travel destinations. It was here that His Holiness Pope John Paul II worked for twelve years as a bishop. The centre point of the old city is the Rynek (main market square), one of the biggest and most beautiful market squares in Europe. The market square is shared by the cloth halls and the Gothic St. Mary basilica. At the southern edge of the old city the Wawelberg stands, with its famous royal castle. In 2000, Cracow was the European Capital of Culture.

Festival International de Musique Baroque de Lamèque.
Le Festival International de musique Baroque de Lamèque est une société de concert vouée à la diffusion de la musique ancienne au Nouveau-Brunswick. Fondé en 1976 par le claveciniste Mathieu Duguay, le Festival jouit désormais d'une réputation enviable, d'où son immense succès auprès du public mélomane. Il présente la plupart de ses concerts dans le cadre acoustique de la pittoresque église Sainte-Cécile de Petite-Rivière-de-l'Île sur l'île de Lamèque. Chef de file au Canada, le festival de Lamèque a su préserver son originalité et sa fidélité aux pratiques d'exécution et d'interprétations historiques (1600-1760). À chaque saison, on y présente des concerts sur instruments d'époque ou copies conformes, en formations chour et orchestre, musique de chambre ou solistes de renom.

Internationales Orgellandschaft in Westfalen-Lippe.
Die Orgellandschaft in Westfalen-Lippe besitzt eine eigenständige, kunst- und musikhistorisch hoch einzuschätzende ausgewogene Mischung an historischen und neuen Orgeln. Einige der Instrumente sind bisher nur wenigen Fachleuten bekannt. Besonders im Barock bauten westfälische Orgelbauer für Kirchen in den Städten und auf dem Land Instrumente, die zum Teil bis heute erhalten geblieben sind. Orgelbauer wie z. B. die Familie Bader und Patroklus Möller arbeiteten auf demselben hohen bautechnischen und künstlerischen Niveau wie die heute jedem Orgelliebhaber geläufigen Schnittger in Norddeutschland und Silbermann in Süddeutschland.

Rencontres Musicales Internationales d'Enghien.
Les "Rencontres Musicales Internationales d'Enghien" ont été créées en 1991 par leur Directeur, Olivier Roberti, rejoint en 1993 par la Directrice artistique, Blanche d'Harcourt.
Avec le Professeur Paul von Schilhawsky (Directeur du Mozarteum de Salzbourg), qu'ils rencontrèrent à Salzbourg, ils ont mis sur pied ces Master Classes, ayant comme objectif la rencontre, dans un lieu paisible, d'élèves de haut niveau avec des professeurs de la plus haute renommée.
Les Master Classes se tiennent au Château d'Enghien, datant du début 20ème siècle.
Un parc de 200 ha entoure le château. Il est planté de très beaux arbres et pousse à la détente et à la méditation.
Une soixantaine d'élèves du monde entier assistent à ces Master Classes.

Nella vita artistica di Firenze la musica ha avuto un ruolo fondamentale: qui è nato, alla fine del '500, sulle teorie e le esperienze della Camerata dei Bardi, il melodramma. Oggi il centro della musica fiorentina è il Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino che ha sede al Teatro Comunale e realizza il Maggio Musicale, il più antico e prestigioso Festival europeo, insieme a Bayreuth e Salisburgo, stagioni annuali concertistiche, liriche e di danza di assoluto rilievo. Il Teatro Comunale ha origine dal Politeama fiorentino, progettato nel 1862 da Telemaco Bonaiuti, un'arena all'aperto da cui prese avvio l'attuale struttura. Oggi il teatro è costituito da una vasta platea, un ordine di palchi e due grandi gallerie semicircolari ad anfiteatro per una capienza complessiva di 2003 posti a sedere.
